A Letter from Hod…

Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you, for placing your trust in Platte Valley Bank to secure a loan under the Paycheck Protection Program.  It is our pleasure to work with you and your business during these challenging times.

At the time your Paycheck Protection Program loan was originated, an eight week timeframe was identified as the period in which payroll and eligible expenses would be utilized in determining loan forgiveness. For many of you that eight week period may have ended or will soon end.

As you may be aware, there are multiple proposed changes to the program since your loan was originated. Specifically H.R.7010 – Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020 as passed by the House of Representatives on May 28th. These changes may have a significant impact on your business and the amount of loan forgiveness that you may be eligible for. For the most up to date information on this program please visit www.pvbank.com/sbappp.

The Small Business Administration has not issued final regulations and guidance to the lenders providing instructions and the methods for submitting forgiveness applications. At this time, if you submit your application for forgiveness, we will not be able to finalize your forgiveness.

Therefore, until these changes and instructions are finalized, we are not encouraging borrowers to apply for forgiveness at this time. Please continue to track all payroll and additional expenses going forward.  We anticipate providing additional information about the forgiveness process as soon as that becomes available, and we will reach out to you. We sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your lender.

Sincerely,

Hod Kosman
