On the week of Sep. 10, 2007 the goal for the Colorado Shareholders came to fruition. The sale means that Mountain Valley Bank will no longer be a subsidiary of Platte Valley Companies, but we continue to hold a significant investment in that company. We would like to thank all associates for the hard work and dedication that made this venture a success!
Platte Valley National Bank-Torrington began a major addition and remodel of its current building, which will more than double the size of the existing bank. This will provide more room and privacy for customer banking business; allow employees on the main floor that are currently working in basement offices and for continued growth. The addition will also include a large ground level community room for Ambassador Club events and available to the community for meetings and events.
Platte Valley National Banks and Tri-County National Banks become State Chartered banks and change their names to Platte Valley Bank and Tri-County Bank.
C.H. Brown Co., LLC joined Platte Valley Companies. It finances mobile and stationary equipment for the agricultural, industrial, transportation, and construction industries.
Platte Valley Bank – Morrill suffered a fire caused from a neighboring building. While damage was caused, the branch didn’t lose a day of serving their customers. Renovations to the building were completed the first week of December 2012.
